When you hire The Shepards, you're getting two full time photographers, working seamlessly together with different strengths and perspectives. Most photography teams have a lead shooter and a second shooter (and often that second shooter is not consistently the same person). Aslan and Andria spent years shooting over 300 weddings together and apart, cultivating a balance between a photojournalistic and artistic approach.

Instead of packing everything into 8 hours, this allows you to have your wedding weekend documented in a way that allows you to just enjoy it, without sacrificing photos.

Rehearsal Dinner/Welcome Party
Rehearsal dinner coverage is one of our favorite add-ons, particularly for couples hosting many out-of-town guests. In contrast to the pressure of a wedding day, the rehearsal dinner offers a more laid-back ambiance, creating ample opportunities for candid moments with your guests in a beautiful but relaxed atmosphere.
This additional coverage also permits us to capture personal and flat lay details the day before, strategically freeing up your wedding day timeline. By doing so, we can devote our focus entirely to photographing the most significant moments of your day – THE TWO OF YOU.
Engagement Sessions
Engagement sessions are the perfect opportunity for us to work together before your wedding day. Engagement sessions often help couples warm up to the camera, creating more authentic and meaningful photographs both during your engagement session and wedding day.
Engagement sessions are also the perfect opportunity to do a trial run for wedding makeup, hair, or a spray tan so that you can see how those will look in photos before your wedding day.
Bridal Sessions
Bridal sessions are an opportunity to capture extra portraits of both of you, or just the bride, before or after your wedding day. Shooting outside the wedding day provides more freedom in choosing locations, playing with lighting, and taking the extra time to create artistic, editorial images.
Many couples enjoy adventuring to a place that is meaningful to them, while others prefer creating unique images in a studio setting. It's a simple way to add a personal touch and flexibility to your visual story beyond the structured timeline of the wedding day.
